A community for makers in Chattanooga, TN
Whether you're a pro, just starting out, or tinkering in your garage, MakeChatt is a place for Chattanooga makers, crafters, and artists to learn from each other and build stuff together.
Chattanooga is full of creative people, and I want to make a place to help each other learn new skills and make new things.

FAQ
Is there a cost to join?
Nope. MakeChatt is free, no memberships, no fees, ever.
Do I need experience to join?
Not at all. Pro, novice, or home-lab tinkerer, everyone's welcome here.
Where does MakeChatt actually happen?
Mostly on Discord. That's where project threads, questions, tool swaps, and meetup planning happen.
Who's behind this?
Donald Sayers (he/him)
I love making things and picking up new skills, and it turns out I'm not the only one. Chattanooga's full of woodworkers, welders, coders, sewists, potters, and home-lab tinkerers. We're all over this city, mostly just doing our own thing.
MakeChatt is about getting us in the same room, or at least the same Discord server, so we can teach each other, swap tools and know-how, and make more than we would on our own.
How do I get started?
Jump in the Discord and say hi. That's it.
